Default Why... what is that wonderful tune?

Okay, I don't really post on this part of the world, but hear me out.

Go here: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/12/v...n-slow-motion/

Eh? Eh? When I saw it I thought of you all and hoped you'd enjoy it.

This will probably be deleted...

I noticed with the video that you don't really see the rolling camera track that they must have used to get that smooth rotating motion. I think you can see it for a few seconds near the beginning.

Maybe they just had somebody holding the camera outside of yet another car?

ok, i'll admit it..this is the first time i've ever heard this [the studio version, the recent live perf. was the first time i'd heard the song]. i never bought that soundtrack back in the day, taped teitbite off the radio, didn't hear of the other version til way later, and fsr never got around to dling it. pretty stupid of me cause it's actually really, really good..of course

he should write some more lyrics like this, dangit

It's not really that old... but if you're going to call it a piece of shit I will need to know what you drive.

Don't get me wrong the newest generation mustangs are pretty nice, but my vehicle of choice would be a Japanese or a fine German make.

Meh... The car works well with the color of the sky, plus it's able to do a mean burnout. As a whole the video's a total success, it's all very dramatic and the song makes the Mustang appear powerful and looming, which it may be.

It's the song itself that's powerful and imminent. In my opinion this is a very inappropriate song to use for this specific video. It doesn't fit at all.

Apparently the only image of a muscle car you'll ever have in your head is a redneck doing doughnuts in a Wal-Mart parking lot, so you seemingly can't think of any other song to accompany this video but Dueling Banjos. A burnout in slow motion from a mean American drag racing muscle car is pretty fitting to the song to me, however.

Please don't derail this thread anymore... Let's focus on the song's presence in the movie and that Autoblog.com enjoyed it, okay?

The camera is in a car, driving around the mustang. That's the door that you are seeing.

I'd go for the "Fuck everything I kill" chick.

Also: People need to get their TEITBITE and TBITEITB shit together.

MonteLDS has asked me to inform the denizens of this thread that unless all talk of automobiles ceases, it will be locked and deleted, with massive infractions handed out to the perpetrators.
