Whoa. It's even worse than I thought. Only a 1 hour set. At least it's free!!

People are assuming this some kind of festival which it is not. It's part of a concert series that are calling a festival. It's not the kind of festival where 20 bands play an hour each.

Not sure if I'm going. Got a ticket but I'm not driving to universal, parking then walking the half hour walk from the car through city walk, to stand in a line with a meaningless ticket and hope they let me in.

Each Krush event will feature a one hour high-energy performance by a headline band as well as music by Los Angeles-based DJ, Matthew Sullivan.

Ouch... the dealbreaker is if they allow glow sticks at the venue...

I hope this doesn't happen, but if it does, there's plenty to do around City Walk. It's only a couple hour drive from my place, so I'll eat up an evening -- perhaps if I arrive early I'll be able to get 'em (as if I'm the only one to think of that.) It's a shame this isn't a standard will call deal.

But hey, if I get free tickets to see the Pumpkins, I got free tickets to see the Pumpkins. No skin off my back if I don't.
