Default i got way too drunk at my family reunion this weekend

i think everyone can relate so i shouldn't worry too much about it. but i only see most of these people once every two years so i don't know if that's the best impression to leave

also i found out that two of my dad's cousins (who are siblings and closer to me in age than they are to my dad) are homos. kinda nice to know i'm not alone in that i guess. :-/

now i just feel like shit though. someone talk to me.

getting a little drunk at family events is inevitable, especially when you're a college student. my parents are happy enough that i still go with them to those things, but i have a few good family friends that are in their 20s so its fine.

its weirder that people seem to be comfortable with the fact that i do drink. ive generally been the youngest in our group of family friends, but no one seems to care if i am carrying a drink or anything.

Is it strange that the first question I want to ask every homosexual I meet is "What do your parents think about it?"?

Anyway, getting trashed at family reunions is perfectly alright. Just stop fucking dudes, and you'll go to heaven.

mine are ok with it. but my mom doesn't really like me doing anything ever. so that gets in the way sometimes.

those brothers' parents are ok with it too. but they're liberal hollywood types. so that's to be expected.

It's cool they're OK with it, mang. Hearing the few times you've talked about them I didn't know if they'd be shitty about it.

i always knew they'd be alright about it. or at least was pretty sure they would be. i just didn't have the balls to do it until i pretty much had to. (would have been pretty tough to maintain a relationship without them knowing about it.) and five of my pretty close friends know. so progress has been made. still a ways to go though.

I have a family reunion coming up in November, but I don't know how much of a good time it is going to be. My uncle has terminal cancer and if he's not dead before then it'll be a pretty depressing reunion.
