That's pretty cool Monte, good work. That's also cool of corgan to take the time to answer the questions.

Monte - Thanks for posting this. You did a really good job.

ya the radiohead remark kind of caught me off guard.. wasn't exactly expecting that. but i would imagine that people have questioned on why SP doesn't go down the road Radiohead is going down.

Thanks for the video, Monte...gives us a cool insight into what's coming up.

But you're still creepy as hell.

you've met billy how many times and you haven't figured out he's put off by excessive fanatic dialog?

Thanks for the video, it was really informative. I’m getting a bit excited about the era shows, nice to know they plan on doing them soon. 20th anniversary fall tour sounds wonderful too. But I do hope they still plan on recording this summer.

This is the best interview with Billy in QUITE a while. Completely bullshit free and seemingly full of sincerity. I am also happy that Billy is apparently fully cognizant of some of concerns, frustrations, hopes, and interests of the fan community and is genuinely interested in addressing them. At the least it proves Billy is not so out of touch as he at times appears to be.

Yeah, this is what I was getting at.

I really am thankful for the info you got for us, but you were weirding him out towards the end. Even another fan said something.

I stopped watching when monte said 'that's the second time you've said that to me' because that was just too creepy for words.

but seriously though, why does it weird him out when someone knows the really old songs? it can't be that freaky that we know pre-gish stuff. OR IS IT?

anyway, pretty revealing interview there, nice job monte.
What werired him out was Monte using the term "Spiteface tease". Had nothing to do with someone knowing really olds songs, it was more not only do you know every riff I've played live you have geeky stalker terms for them.

it also seemed apparent to me that billy wasnt taking a jab at radiohead, he was merely pointing out that they are so popular they have liberties that he doesnt. people do kiss radioheads ass, everyone knows that.

That's because they put out great shit and their latest album was one of their best. It sounded like Corgan was implying that the latest radiohead album wasn't that great. But whatever I might just be misinterpreting him.
