I quit smoking pot. Lots of you don't have drug problems but smoke pot and that's cool. Who cares. A joint every now and again isn't going to crush your whole life. I'd smoke from daybreak to nightfall just to hide from shit so I'm going to quit forever. I'd be so stoned that I'd make excuses "Well, I can't do such and such today, I'm too high. I'll do it tomorrow." Then the next day I'd do a wake-n-bake and be stoned all day and say the same thing. It's like how alcoholics can't ever touch a drink again because they have a serious problem with controlling themselves.

But this Marley Fest Handout shit about how many benefits weed has for people is moronic. If we're talking about pain relief for glaucoma and shit, yeah sure. Whatever. And yes, it should be decriminalized and legalized but I'm not going to ever touch the shit again and I will look down on people who smoke on a daily basis and go to Yoga class heavy lidded and looking like a dunce. I mean if your greatest aspiration in life is to be a belly dancing instructor then continue to smoke yourself retarded, have a fucking blast.

I mean if these heavy stoners just once stayed sober and watched how other people are when they're sober and the other people are high it might hit them like a ton of bricks that it's fucking boring and it is a serious problem if you're making yourself stoned on a daily basis. It's not even good to be drinking on a daily basis, even if you're just getting "buzzed." or whatever. You need, want, require the "glow" and that's a pretty sad existence.
I didn't read this because you're an idiot.

If I researched I could probably find hundreds of people who are old, have been smoking all their lives and have lived normal, healthy, happy and maybe even successful lives.

I gotta go meet up with Caine Walker and listen to my boyfriend play music and drink some coffee...AFTER I GET HIGH. So I'll see you dudes later.

i smoke weed everyday, and i know its both good and bad. do people who drink alcohol think they're drinking vitamin water. not everyone cares that they are "self-destructive". living is destructive. every single thing i do is killing either myself or someone else. or affecting or influencing their lives in negative ways. just lighten up and let us kill ourselves slowly. if people didn't have their vices they already have, they'd just pick another one. coping mechanisms are different for everyone. some people are just dumb at their core, and it has nothing to do with weed. that's where mark and stacee are perfect examples. they're self absorbed and they know it. they smoke weed and they want everyone to know it. that's a personality issue, not really a weed issue.

That's very right ciGarski, if you approcah life with a positive, result driven attitude, then how you spend your recreational time is entirely up to you.

As long as you balance a good diet and a good breakfast with exercise, aims, and achievements you can provide yourself the tools you need to secure your financial future and your future happiness.

I really cannot believe how many people think daily, habitual narcotics use is perfectly ok.

Goal setting techniques are used by top-level athletes, successful business-people and achievers in all fields. They give you long-term vision and short-term motivation. They focus your acquisition of knowledge and help you to organize your time and your resources so that you can make the very most of your life.

By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. You can see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. By setting goals, you will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your ability and competence in achieving the goals that you have set.

people get by just fine smoking every day, killing rag heads every day, oh, wait. that's legal to do in iraq. weed is not just a health issue. it's a political one too. and demonizing weed just because the government says its illegal is a pretty ignorant basis of an opinion on what the implications of its use even are.

I'm sure you'll do just fine, trotsky

Self-esteem is built upon the experience of success. Think of it as a circular process. When people experience success, they grow in self-confidence. As self-confidence grows, they feel empowered to face new challenges. As they succeed in confronting each challenge, they develop the capacity to cope with whatever life throws their way. That feeling leads to further growth of self-confidence, self-reliance and self-esteem.

Celebrate your strengths and achievements.

Forgive yourself for your mistakes.

Don't dwell on your weaknesses, every human has them.

Change the way you talk to yourself -- stop putting yourself down!

Be sure that you are not judging yourself against unreasonable standards.

Beating yourself for your weaknesses is self defeating. Use that energy for positive thoughts about you.

Yeah you know all those crazy self-loathing sessions I had on here were when I was impossibly, impossibly high...

slightly ot but I need some advice

if somebody you know has repeatedly claimed to want to drink less, admits that they use alcohol to deal with their problems, and drinks (enough to have a drastic personality change and not be able to follow a simple conversation) several times a week, is it reasonable to think this is unacceptable? keep in mind this is not a college kid either. this is a middle aged person with children.

There are far more long-term effects of habitual drug use that you're not even considering because you're on this "different strokes for different folks" crap when it's utter bullshit.
"that's not a good idea" and "you're on the path toward self-destruction" are two vastly different things. medical professionals would also to tell me to stop smoking cigarettes and to drink less coffee and to eat better. but that doesn't mean i can't be successful and still keep doing what i'm doing.

i'm not saying smoking weed every day is part of the healthiest lifestyle possible, i'm just saying it doesn't have to be crippling for anyone who does it just because it was for you.

i wanna talk about how weed isn't even a narcotic.
and how walking to see a dentist to remove an infected tooth in auto polluted air through a gang ridden neighborhood can be more harmful to my lungs and my long term and short term health and mortality than staying home and smoking weed all day and playing ikaruga.

I want to talk about how everyone is all of a sudden obsessed with Jacoby Ellsbury.. old and young woman alike. They didn't even know who he was until he came back from Pawtucket and played in the world series. In fact they only noticed him once he won their fat asses a free taco!

a shot of everclear is one thing...although it doesn't take much to get this person really loopy. whatever, it doesn't matter. there's nothing I can do about it anyway.
