Default Radiohead's Bestest Hits

EMI thinks it's slick and is going to release a greatest hits when Radiohead goes on tour.

at the very least, it'll be interesting to see what the tracklist will be.

Are they going to tack on some rarities or outtakes to try and get people to buy it or is this for Radiohead's nonexistent casual fans?

Blah. A Radiohead Greatest Hits should not exist. Maybe I could see it after OK Computer, but I can't really imagine that sort of thing happening for their material after that. The "non-existant casual fans" will only be buying it for "that 'I'm a creep' song that's on the radio all the time, the karma or whatever song, and that one with the weird video where he's riding around in a buggy the whole time" anyway.

Like the utterly worthless box set, a blatant cash cow and a total waste of time. Unless there's some sort of extra incentive to buy it, I see no point.

Scotch Mist + a few extras on DVD, maybe?

Then again, I've already burnt it for myself anyway.

The general public is completely oblivious to this band's existence outside of Creep. Period.

Radiohead has some pretty bad singles, I really wouldn't wish a greatest hits album by them on anyone. Even though I don't like them in general, their singles are much worse than the rest of their music.
