LOL yeah right we have to fall into anarchy at this point to destabilize the entrenched neo-aristocracy that controls the government through lobbyists, PACs, and secret contributions.

They just ran 10 different drills regarding the Power Grid that ended yesterday. They can't start WWIII, the Military is being gutted by patriots who refuse to go along with shooting Americans and this Obamacare debacle isn't exactly giving the Bolsheviks among us a tingly feeling.

Beware the EMP. sure looks like they just tested those waters recently.

It has nothing to do, again, with deaths, the emergency or event. Good lord.

Yeah but the point is the delayed enrollment strains everything else. Thats not even mentioning that there are questions about the data being sent to insurance companies, it's just not as simple as you think.

Ah, but thats not what you said is it. What you said was:

He was saying that long after 2010, and without any hedging or stipulation whatsoever.

Well yeah, except they arent saying he lied because they gamed the system they're saying he lied BECAUSE HE FUCKING LIED.

And had he gone around saying that he would've been in the clear. Except he didnt.

Really if you're not intellectually honest enough to admit that he was out misleading people, or you know-lying, you're not worth having much of a discussion with.

linking to that opinion piece with a fox news url was a joke right

"Hey Man, this thing is way over the cost of what you told me, what's with all these surcharges."

"Ya, but what you have now is better."

maybe you should go digging in some history and find out how many "katrina moments" there are for you to maybe be a little less glib throwing it around. how come this is a "katrina moment" and not a "iran hostage moment" or...shit whatever i mean fuck off the only thing they share is that it's bad goverment in action. the crisis is different, the circumstances are different, i mean fucking fuck shut up it's like you're comparing american football to mars

sppunk uses it to describe any unpopular event that is related to the preznit, i figured you were smarter than that fb come on dogg

You missed the point entirely if you think I was comparing the website failure to Katrina. The president failed his party and responsibility in both instances. Both lead to losing trust.

Yes I could go back to a few decades for a comparison of a president massively bumbling a situation.

We're obviously seeing with Obama that there is a portion of "the left" (I use this term for lack of a better one) in America who will unquestioningly follow the leaders of the blue team. I'm curious how many people this is and how it compares to the same segment of "the right" who did the same thing in the Bush years.

I mean, I remember thinking that in 2008 the election of Obama was going to bring a decent coalition (at least on a few important issues) of reactionary right-wing anti-Obama types and all of these seemingly ideology-driven lefties who admirably fought against the civil rights abuses, warmongering and corporatism of the Bush administration. But the latter group just dropped off the face of the earth as soon as Obama broke his first promise and didn't close gitmo. Even more astoundingly, they have defended his wars and corporatism with the same veracity with which they fought against similar policies only a few years before.

i think if you absolutely had to give a historical analogue it'd be "obama's iran-contra moment"... which is still kind of a terrible comparison but like that it highlights legit cracks in leadership while there are other factors

"keep any plan you like" is misleading but you have insurers throwing out shitty plans while not replacing it with anything, so there are other actors on the stage if you objectively want to get into who's fucking who in the ass.
