i agree about ma belle being one of the best things to come out of this new era. Stellar, too. Those songs really stand out as being up to the standards to which I hold SP.

anyway, off the top of my head:
the way his voice sounds wounded when he sings "ask yourself a question, ANYONE BUT ME, iiiiiiiiii aint... free" for the second time on the hummer outro.
thats just a perfect vocal presentation. one of billy's crowning moments if you ask me.

the last little breathy note billy sings at the end of soma that fades into that whirring sound.

the last chord strum on luna at the very end of the song. utter perfection

the last part on Behold!, with the piano repeating the melody.

the crescendo of this time. crashing down, crashing doooooooown my friends, only love can win.

i can go on forever, god i loved that band

The almost spoken "slow dawn" where you can imagine him stepping away from the mic and pulling a bluesy grimace - during the solo of slow dawn.

The "Whhhy" in "your love just can't explain why we're forever frozen" in TTEOR...

Obviously "In my mind I'm everyone of you" in Porcelina. Also in that song, when he changes that sustained note in the outro.

The sound of the drums and guitars in the Geek breakdown.

The sound of the guitars and vocals in the Tarantula breakdown.

The build up of atmospheric guitars in Obscured.

"And in this fall from grace
We'll meet again
Another time another place" from Marquis

"it's in the ways i walk through fire
it's in the ways of my desire" from Mouths of babes.

"In the stillness of cool air" Cherry.

"Good enough but I don't care" with the backing vocals coming in from Ugly.

Something about "dead suns rule dead air" from Starz gets me as well

That one line he delivers right at the end of Cherry just as it's fading out sounds like "I need air"

So many more !All the little ooh's and ah's that he adds between words are amazing too particulary in the outro to GATGC.. These moments aren't so prevelant in the new pumpkins stuff though. It's these moments I love about the Pumpkins. Great Thread!

"Beeeeee Meeeeee" is definitely noteworthy for me as well.

Ah.. Daydream. Not much of a fan favorite in most cases, but I enjoy the strings on it.

This picture used to be one of my favorites and I do still ike it. I recently just unpacked it from it being in storage for years and years etc.

So here it is. In hallway waiting to know where to go now.

people walk by it and kind of shutter. saying that he looks "kind of scary". I can understand that I guess but that's not what i see.
i love photography and visual art and so it is a visual "moment of bliss" that i need to figure out exactly what to do with.

The only thing that has done it for me this tour was in Boston during drown when he just belted out "i wish, i wish i could fly"

it always gives me chills to hear the crowd screaming along with "i just want to be me"

I always forget why I love this band until one of those moments and it gives me chills.
