Default Apple iTouch Problem

I need help trying to connect to my home network using the wifi. It says I'm connected and I see that I am connected but I cannot browse the net. I put in the correct encryption key and it says "can't connect to server".

Can anyone help me out here?

perhaps...

what's wrong is your wireless router isn't connected to the internet, or it's wireless broadcast settings are totally messed up. just because you can connect to it doesn't mean anything if the wireless router/basestation isn't connected to the internet
