I saw it at like 11:30 on a Wednesday morning and it was me and like 10 old people in the theater. When the credits rolled they were audibly bitching about it, it was funny.

Great movie.

seems like most who disliked the movie was because the ending was strange and it didn't flat out explain everything about what happened to you

which is why i liked it.

You really don't find many movies that make you think about underlying themes as you're watching, most other movies this year have seemed pretty brainless compared to No Country.

I just watched it and liked it a lot. At first the ending confused me though, I thought I had missed something obvious that explained it but the more I thought about it the more I liked how it ended. It somehow seemed to fit.

This last summer I saw pretty much every movie in theaters with my neighbor, being bored out of my skull every night. I don't recall anything this year that compares to no country for old men.

i hate how this movie's audience is like

people who loved it to death

and then people who didn't like it

and the people who loved it are smarter than the people who didn't like it, because obviously if you didn't like it, you didn't GET it.

yet i feel like i got it more than most people who liked it, i just didn't like it.

Amazing movie. I can't even remember the last time I saw a movie that had me literally on the edge of my seat like that.

well i don't want to be pretentious about it, i certainly didn't get everything about it but you know when every movie has the part where they explain what just happened it's nice to have a movie that doesn't

i liked it because the acting was great, the cinematography was great (roger deakins ftw), and it really had an awesome feel to it. coens always have this brilliant knack for regional flavor.

also lots of gunplay and one explosion. so i don't think i'm saying that if people didn't like the ending they didn't "get it" i just think they're being tools.

I really didn't "get it" until I talked to Netphoria about it. I didn't fully understand what happened at the end. I still don't think I fully understood the movie... but I also sort of thought this is why it was good.

it's a masterpiece and if you don't like it you have horrible taste in movies.

what did you dislike? pretty much everyone i know loved the movie, but the few people ive heard complain got a little ticked by the lack of closure in the ending, but that was because there was so much amazing buildup throughout the movie. i liked the ending and wouldn't change it, but i thoroughly enjoyed everything about the movie, the coen brothers just know how to tell stories.
