Oh yeah, if you join the Ticketmaster Facebook group, you get like 5 free songs on iTunes. So if you don't want to pay for American Gothic, there's that.

i just tried this but i didn't get any free songs
do you have to do something besides just joining the group?

edit: nevermind; this promo apparently ended last month

Not bad, though I've heard better string quartet tributes (such as some Metallica songs)

I generally don't get too into string quartets compared to other classical genres. However, the following are exceptions:

Debussy -- String Quartet in D Minor

Beethoven -- String Quartet #8 in e, Op 59/2, "Rasoumovsky" #2

Any fans?

Chopin -- Valse - Op. 70, No. 3 arr. for string quartet is a favorite. Better than the piano version.
