Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man, and let history make its own judgment.

This world is bullshit. And you shouldn't model your life — wait a second — you shouldn't model your life about what you think that we think is cool and what we're wearing and what we're saying and everything. Go with yourself. Go with yourself.

We didnt have quotes either. We had "write ups" Where we all, in our 17 year old retardedness, crammed 60 words or so of " CM,FD,JJ,LS best friends forever!!" and dumb little inside jokes that we all thought were very clever.

i wonder how many douchebags are going to use "don't taze me, bro!" thinking it will be socially relevant like even when the yearbook comes out

I would have probably used a song title from Explosions in the Sky, or a Smashing Pumpkins lyrics.

Our senior yearbook theme was "chain reaction" so they had little boxes with people and how they were linked to the person in front of and behind them, like I "liked sweet sweaters" or something like my friend Heather and was "in a band" with my friend Laura. The only problem was that the yearbook people just compiled them themselves, we didn't pick, and so they didn't use everyone in the class.

Did anyone else get to have a senior will, where you got to leave stuff to underclassmen and teachers? We could make it as long as we wanted. Mine was only a couple of paragraphas.

One of the things I left for my French teacher that I hated was "1000 gum wads stuck under the desk" with this statement: "If I could do it over I would have taken Spanish you hag!" I think she retired after that.

i think it is. it's a quote like any other quote, but then for this specific year in your career.

we don't have those (at all) in belgium.

my quote was a parody of a german saying

there aren't really "yearbooks" here either, only school-newspaper-things at the end of year 12

everything about yearbooks is so creepy and depressing

people our age are obsessed with nostalgia

my senior class was over 900 students and the yearbook was already half full of ads, so any quotes or anything probably would have made it 2 volumes
