Scrape frost? I hardly ever scrape, but I had to the other day because over the weekend an inch thick layer of ice had devoured my truck.

Snow will be pretty nice, since I don't have to work. Maybe I can have manage to have some fun in the snow while I'm not studying for my programming final...

Three inches of ice - my house nearly exploded at 4 a.m. due to transformers popping and lines going down.

Most of the city will be without power until at least Wednesday night.

Fuck you, ice.

Thank God I live where it's practically summer during Christmas.

I wish it were colder, though.

I cleaned the snow and ice off of my car today, and it was totally iced up again less than an hour later.

The snow wasn't even an issue here. People overreacted as always and went 2mph on any given road even though it wasn't any more wet than it would be had it rained. I can't stand it.

Thank god we got got a bunch of snow! It snowed all of Saturday night and we went to our friends house to trip out...ended up walking home in it at around 5am, it was so peaceful and pretty. Much better than the ice and freezing rain.

Today it's 21 degrees and feels like 8 though =\ I stayed home from work...wasn't feelin' it.

I just took these out of my back door and kitchen window...

We got a bunch, some places in/around Chicago got 10-12 inches.

Julio, you love nature/weather/etc. so much, do you get bummed on occasion that you don't get the cold extremes?

Here was the view yesterday down a street close to our house.

Yeah I love nature and one of my favorite things about are the change of seasons. Not just temperature but the way weather dramatically changes light, color and mood. Yeah I love weather, I go on wunderground and look at their photo gallery often and I check up on conditions aroudn the country and world. So yeah it is defniteley a bummer to live here. But I did go up to mt. baldy two weekends ago, 45 minutes from my house and the scene there was very similar to photo you posted there. so its not too bad but i would like to experience a real winter.

yeah its been a good rain season so far. cold fronts have been bringing in showers at least once a week. we are a bit above average here so fingers crossed but they're still forecasting a la nina (dry season)

Didn't upstate NY (Lake Placid area) get like 11 feet of snow over the course of a few weeks last winter?... Anyway that storm sucked.. I had to walk in the streets of Boston trying to find a cab home from work, then my should fell off in the snow and got covered and got lost because it was so windy..good times
