This is what happens every time I go grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. Like the organic bounty is just TOO MUCH TO HANDLE.

I'm at peace with Trader Joe's and know that it's going to be a giant clusterfuck of hippie weirdos and douche yuppie tech dot com stupid fucks that dominate the Puget Sound area. I completely turn my brain off before shopping and make damn sure I follow the list.

the manager will yell "man overboard" (or something like that) if they're short of crew up front at the registers. and they all wear floral shirts. some of the the staff are eccentric to say the least.

the cheese selection is rather excellent. and the beers if you're in a state that allows alcohol vending at a grocery store.

they have a stupid theme with their own "trader joe's" product line tho. they'll use "trader giotto's" for "italian" stuff and "trader ming's" or something like that for asian, etc.

I got 80% of my shopping done today, not online. Went to the LC, the Keg, music store, Future shop and a pipe shop.

Then for my 2nd online purchase I found a sweet deal on a peter paul and mary box set for my dad which is half of what I would pay for in the stores.

Now, I just have to find a gift for my mom and I'm done.

Feels good to be 98% finished before finals.

I guess I'm just so used to dealing with crowds that Christmas mall crowds aren't really that big of a deal. Try going downtown to see a show in Grant Park. Jesus christ...

i like shopping in stores and just looking around at what they carry. it helps give me ideas. sometimes i just turn around and buy it online though, after i find a good deal.

some things i can only find online though, like the dvd i'm getting my mom.
