HMM live back in the Machina days was pretty cool too (the United Center performance was awesome).

The album version was a disaster. The new version is probably one of the most rockin' things they've ever done. Loved hearing it in Pittsburgh.

I like it live, both zeitgeist and machina tour versions. The album version gets harder to listen to every time I try it...

mayday mode:

This song has alot of heavy guitars and screaming. It kind of hurts my ears, but i think billy really likes to play it. If billy is having fun, then i am happy

this version embraces the aspect of the 'heavy metal machine' way more- wanky riffs, heavy palm muting, tapping.

i love it

I guess the AOL session version was easy to make out the vocals (soundboard feed). But I think there have been some more interesting/funny lyrics also used in some versions this tour... things like "We just do what Billy Corgan says"

And you listed "need some glass". I thought that sometimes he said "we just needed some cash". Maybe not, I could have misheard.

Anyway, Jeff's intro solo kills

We can both be correct (sometimes = cash, AOL = glass), and I think we are, but of course I could be wrong.

I like it, but they could stand to shorten it a tad bit.
