I accepted to go on a date with a couple for tomorrow

They're very good looking and nice. Not that anything's ever going to happen (I've met a few throuples and I guess it's a stupid fad or something to be in a 3-way relationship), but I accepted it for the experience. How will this work? Do they both pull the chair out for me? Do they split the cost of the meal? Who kisses whom (it probably won't even go that far). I just want to say that I've been on a date with a couple.

What if I like one more than the other? How would they handle that? And I don't feel bad about going out on this date just for the experience - they DO have each other already. Yet it sure makes you wonder about the state of their relationship.

Nope - a real relationship.

Friends of mine invited me to a bbq where the hosts were a throuple. All three lived together, shared a huge bed, had sex together, were exclusive to each other, equal shares in the house, etc etc. And more and more are popping up.

I look at it as a social experiment, kind of like the 70s, but less extreme.

two men. but i've heard it with a man and a woman too. a friend of mine in NYC told me about it. two bi guys wanted a woman, and believe it or not, she fell for them both.

and yes, throuple is an annoying word.

i'm just very curious about this and decided to go out with this couple. i'll probably be asking more questions than they want me to. i could never do it though - i can't imagine ever getting enough space, the arguments, jealousy, etc etc.
