I saw this in DC. Deacon was ill but the show was incredible. Highly recommended.

dan deacon is awesome. i heard him on the radio and downloaded soem more of his songs.

deacon has a great personality and his music sounds great. girl talk is a flaky poser and his music sounds like shit

I saw them the end of September. Definitely a great time. Dan Deacon and some of the other crew from Wham City used to come through here and play house shows alllll the time. I guess they're all getting too big now. Hell, he just toured Europe a little while ago. Video Hippos are going to do a European tour soon too, and they're trying to recruit my friends' band, Future Islands to go too.

But back to the fact, you should definitely go if you like dancing. I like listening to Girl Talk, but it was a take it or leave it kind of thing. Dan Deacon at least gets the crowd involved. I do wish Dan would change his shirt every now and then, but hey, even if he does stink, I can vouch that he does take showers. I accidentally walked in on him at an after party once.. whoops.
