well, the deaf girl had two interpreters (each did 10 minute rotations) and, perhaps obviously, she kinda blurt out not too loudly, then the interp would have to stop the teacher and ask her something really trivial.

that's actually a really odd thing about north america. i don't think i've seen anyone ever sleep at a class that i've been in on any level of education. my theory is that it's because you have your benches separated instead of having at least two people sitting next to each other.
