Pittsburgh, PA - 10/9/2007

So I got 4 General Admission tickets for Pittsburgh, but it says G06 for the row. Ticketmaster says there are seats on the floor, but the lady at the Palumbo center says they got an email saying General Admission is standing only for this event.

Does anyone know what is going on? I'm thinking G06 is just another code for General Admission. Based on the seating chart, G06 doesnt exist.

Yeah, I got tickets like that, and I'm assuming it's GA. I saw the White Stripes there and I think that it was just GA.

They were 57 dollars a piece and also the most expensive here in Pittsburgh. I just want to figure out where I am if there are actual seats on the floor.

No floor seats....I called the Palumbo Center to be sure before I bought anything.

fairly sure they have to print a seat number on the ticket just so they can keep track of how many tickets are sold, whether there are seats or not.

I requested GA and it says my row is G04, Section:GENADM. I'm assuming it's all just GA on the floor, but with Ticketmaster who really knows.

My receipt says that I am in Row G05 Seats 1033-1035.

Yeah, I got some general admission code. AJ Palumbo is pretty small, if you're on the floor it probably doesn't matter where you are. I'd hate to have some of the seats on the side, or even worse, behind the stage :x

I read that the doors open at 6:00 p.m.

I also heard that it is all General Admission... there are no seats.

Also, just some general info about AJ Palumbo, for those of you wondering about the way it sounds. Back in 2003 when, for whatever reason, I liked Coldplay, I saw them there. It's actually not bad. Very loud, lots of reverb (because of the size). It's not the best venue in the world but it's certainly better than something like the Mellon Arena, for sure.

I wondered the same thing about the "G01" thing too. Someone else on the main board suggested that it probably has to do with the way the do ticket sales and keeping track of how many they sell.

If it's all General Admission and there are no seats, why is there different pricing on the tickets.

Ticketmaster said tickets range from $47.50-$57.50....

I chose "best available" and was charged with the $57.50 tickets. I don't care about the cost, but I'm just curious as to why there is a range in pricing if it's all standing.

From my understanding, the floor is all GA (57.50), but the rest of the arena is reserved seating (47.50).
