a FLAC or WAV of Stellar would be great. I know it's still transcoded from AAC, but at least not then transcoded again to mp3...

you would not be able to play the AAC file i believe due to DRM issues.

thats what dbpoweramp is for. iirc, aac files can indeed be lossless.

mucho gracias to the thread starter. very nice, indeed.

you could play it and record it through any output.

A FLAC or WAV of Stellar would be completely pointless. It would be the exact same quality as the AAC but would take a lot more space.

Someone should just strip the DRM off the AAC and post that.

you cant play anything that has DRM unless you are the one who purchased it.

if someone can strip the drm from the aac, that would be perfect

Thanks so much for starting this thread.

I bought the Target version with Zeitgeist on it, and I just donwloaded Stellar (awesomse song), but for some reason when I go to the page to download "Death From Above" I can't get it to work. Does anybody have a working link for "DFA"? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks so much!

there is a link to DFA in the top of this thread.

So can you post the AAC file for Stellar with the DRM stripped out?

Where can I get a 192kbs + version of Death From Above in mp3 format? I don't have any software to play FLAC.

Well not only the PC software limitation, but I'm also making a CD of Zeitgeist with all the bonus tracks on it so I need a format my car's CD player can read as well.

I know. I just said it wouldn't work. There's no link to DL the song from when I go to the page.

Can someone just post MP3s, a format that everyones computer supports? I don't see why we need to make things complicated.

FLAC is not complicated. It sounds 100000000x better than mp3.
