I doubt it. Bonus DVD of what?

the recording process? a SKOMish videodocumentary on the entire experience? live footage from the shows they've taped so far? maybe some kind of animation to go along with the songs?

Three things about this:

1. I'm surprised a Norwegian website was the first to confirm this, and there're only four weeks until the album is released.

2. A 76-page book with alternate wrapping would be cool... but if it's going to cost more than $25, it better also i nclude every extra bonus song that you can get elsewhere. For that, I'd pay $30-35. I'd much rather spend the extra money and get everything in one package, rather than buying three or four different albums.

3. Maybe Billy will be using the 76-page book to finally explain what the fuck happened with the Pumpkins... "all in due time," as he said. Maybe he'll put to rest the James and Darcy speculation and redevote a new chapter of his life to the Pumpkins. I think we can all agree that'd we'd prefer it to be that over some huge Glass and June Part 5 or something. Lots of photos would be nice, too.

76 pages hm? didn't billy say something about writing a novel...

"Damn B0lly, we couldn't sell your poetry, you don't think anyone'd buy this kinda crap!"

"Ahm can't we....just make...ahm...a booklet out of it then?"

According to Amazon who's got the differing album art up now, the more expensive edition (18.99 US) will be the red one. The purple one is on the list at 12.99. I wonder if that's correct.

that's a pretty dumb idea, the bright one will be a better selling choice for color but at the more expensive sku many people may not be willing to pay that much if they're just getting into the band and at the same time who wants to buy the duller colored one?

Especially since the first artwork released was the red, and is the one people will have seen/been familiar with. Maybe Amazon fucked up?

It looks like a washed out version of the red cover, like it was left in the sun on a car dashboard for the summer.

Here's my options:

- 76 pages of diagrams of Billy's cape.

- 76 pages of alternate pics from the "theFutureEmbrace" photo shoot

- 76 pages of ranting against James Iha's ancestors

- 76 pages of cheat codes for old NES and SegaMaster system games

- 76 pages of pictures of Billy's pile of money

- 76 pages of pieces of The Gold Coast

- 75 pages of various poses of the band giving thumbs up. 1 page of lyrics.

You need to be more specific...that could fit a few of his records.

Yeah...I mean the part about the incomprehensible crap.

Mellow Gold, Odelay, Mutations & Sea Change are the only albums I can listen to of his. The rest is awful to me.

You would like to have stickers to personalize your album cover. I don't even need to make a joke about that.

yeah, i thought it was kind of weird that no one has said much about the fact that a DVD has been confirmed. What if it IS the metro dvd? That would be so fucking awesome.

There is no way that its the metro dvd. Lets all enter the magical world of speculation and speculate that Billy moves on, and he expects his fans to do the same I guess? Tons of interviews prove this.

I pre-ordered a few weeks ago, and all I can say is that I better get the Deluxe version of this album.

I've been away for a week; when did this purple album art come to light?
