Default your city by the lake

When watching Tonight, Tonight from Rock am Ring, I (think I) noticed that BC switched the lyrics back to:
your city by the lake/the place where you were born

When did this happen? Paris?

edit: AM -> am

On the Rarities/B-Sides collection on iTuens there's an acoustic track of a portion of Tonight, Tonight called "Tonite Reprise" and he says "where I was born," but assuming that was during the writing of the song, he changed it for the recording, I wonder if he winged it during the recordings of the vocals.

Tonite Reprise isn't a demo. it was recorded later on and was originally intended to be on the album too (it is on the vinyl version). i could see him winging it for that though, not so much for the full version.

I was combining signals here. Your response combined with the crowd shots seen in the promotional footage led me to think that the performance might not have been very exciting. Maybe the crowd just wasn't very participatory. Oh well. At least we still have Seb's cap of RaR.

For the festival dates they wanna play as CLOSE TO THE RECORD as possible.

with the notable exception of "Shame."
