Default MCIS vocal mic?

Does anybody know what type of mic they used on the vocals for MCIS? I'm always astounded at how frail and transparent they are in the mix, especially in Tonight Tonight and Set the Ray to Jerry. Very cool.

If anyone has any pics of him singing in the studio I could tell you pretty quick.

if an sm 58 was used, its purpose was likely for scratch vocals or rehearsing, ie. 666 footage
