Default Adore, Porcelina, Once upon.., Perfect, Here is no why...

Why are so many songs aborted?
They could have combined much more songs frome Adore, MCIS, SD and ZG and the tour could have been much better.
I hope to see them in 10 days and I definatelly hope to see one of the songs mentioned above. However, unlike before, the set list seems to be pretty stable and my chances are very slim, to say the least!
How many of you think something may change as the tour goes on?
Any other songs you guys are missing or think we may/should see?

Uh? He's been playing loads of SD, ZG, MCIS and quite some Adore songs. The first 3 gigs lasted 3 hours. How can one expect more songs?

Songs being played so far (per record):

Gish songs: 0
SD songs: 6
MCIS songs: 6
Adore songs: 3
Machina songs: 7
Zeitgeist songs: 9 (that's almost the entire Zeitgeist record)
Gossamer

I don't get your point.

Good point.

It would make a set list redundant and would therefore help in slowing down global heating. The 3 hours gigs demanded a 2 page setlist x 5 band members x a world tour. Silverfuck will save a tree!

they could have mixed old songs in different shows and kept playing the same new ones but maybe wait until for the residency shows... surely they won't have the same general setlist they've been having

The definitely won't. The residency shows promise to be very different.

And it's only the very beginning of the tour anyway.

well my point is they play the same ones so far.

Ava Adore, Tear, Once upon a time, Daphne Desc., Perfect...
Porcelina, Beautiful, Here is no why, Fuck you, By Starlight, Where the boys..., were all HUGE numbers that carried former tours.
Its nice you tell us what songs are played from what albums, yet, non of these songs were played and I am sure almost everyone is missing some of them.

Gish - NONE
SD - less than half
MCIS - less than a quarter
Adore - less than a fifth

You dont get the point? Do you have a braincell?

Oh, I am sorry! I always expect that everyone here is a Pumpkins fan and knows what songs we are talking about if we write one short way, my bad.
Here is the entire name so you know what we are talking about and can participate - Ava Adore.

those tracks, with the possible exception of here is no why, have been played to death. have you never heard a boot or seen them live? why not just request they play 1979x2 per show

i would like to hear:
snail, crush, luna, quiet, by starlight and to really get back in the groove, we only come out at night.

Bury Me
Window Paine
Tristessa
Quiet
Geek USA
Ava Adore
Pug
I of the Mourning

why do you assume that others don't want to hear the songs you don't want to hear?
If I mentioned I want to see them, it is pretty obvious I WANT TO SEE THEM, isn't it?
Why do you care if I have heard or seen them live?
Every idiot knows that hearing them on boot or live is NOT the same.
Even if I have, SO WHAT?
Haven't you seen the ones you mentioned or heard boots, I am sure you can get some with thoose songs.
BTW, 1979 has been played to death EVERY tour, still, you request they play it x2 every gig this time around

When was the last time the songs I mentioned were played?
Even if they got played every day 94-98, how many years have passed?
Don't get some people here.

i can't believe i have to say this, but i was being sarcastic. and the point is that they are clearly mixing it up, hence why those songs are not on the sets. its for the greater good you selfish bastard.

GOLLY! -- we're lucky they're not just playing 60 minute sets of Zeitgeist-only tracks. How many bands out there perform for almost 250 minutes each night, and play more then two songs (read: singles) from albums released more than a decade ago? But it's never enough for Pumpkins fans, is it?

I agree, they should be changing up the set list. They have so many song, they don't need to ever have the same set twice. Even if there was a standard set list with 5 songs that are different each show would be better.

Where is Geek USA, XYU, Age of Innocense?

Maybe it would ahve been better if they reunited, toured all their songs, then came out with a new album. Instead of all at once.

Then again I like the new songs. Really what I want to them to try to play every song once in 2007 so there is more variety.

god, you are such a pathetic little prick that you even dare call someone who calls for a bigger variety of old songs - 'selfish basterd'.
Such a stupid thing to do. It makes no sense, I would than ask for certain songs like you and wouldn't care about others, yet I asked for more, independant of which and from which album.
You obviously don't EVER make sense, how else could I explain you say that the songs played are there for good, while songs like Fuck you, Porcelina, Here is no why, Once upon a time, Pefect, Tear..., were played for just ONE tour (the MCIS songs), or sporadically at the second tour with exchanged arrangments.
Yet, the songs you mentioned being there for good reasons are being played for the - 4th TOUR!

so less than a quarter of a 28 track album played so far. and they're dared to played only 6 out of 13 from SD in a handful of dates. somebody get a lawyer and sue billy's ass.
