Unfortunately all MTV Europe channels are broadcast in a screen resolution that is not compatible with the DVD standard. And MTV UK is encrypted (as if someone would be willing to pay for this shit).

Again, all depends if Billy give permission for it to be broadcast. In the past MTV have broadcast entire gigs live (Iremember Metallica a few years back) and MTV2 often shows extensive highlights of the Rock Am Ring festival. I'll keep my eyes and ears open...

Festival livestream http://www.rockpalast.de/livestream/

There's no schedule yet and I think after Pinkpop it's highly unlikely there will be pumpkins livestream.

as for MTV, i don't think they were all too keen on showing pumpkins anyway. their audience is way too young and for a fair share of them it would be their first exposure to the band ever. to make things worse, the album is not even out and there has been zero media coverage. pumpkins ain't no mtv material anymore and imo never will be again.

as for ROCKPALAST, i would dare to say they will definitely show pumpkins unless the band denies it. their editorial staff actully has integrity. good people, good music. rory ghallagher, anyone?! pumpkins would fit right into what you'd expect from them, and they have more of a "name" going for them to back up their request compared to pinkpop. so maybe there's hope. even if we don't see it live or even soon....

Actualy I'm Watching it now here in the UK Via the free to air version of MTV Germany on the Astra satellite. Unfortuantly my computer crashed while ripping the raw stream, but the VCR is still going.

I read on Blamo that MTV Europe cut out at the beginning of Gossamer since they were over the time limit

Thankfully, the webstream didn't. I got to watch the whole thing in all it's jamming glory.
