Are you trying to be commercially successful? You should definitely sing whatever tcm writes for you in an overly emotional and pseudo-dramatic tone. That seems to be the only thing selling now a days. Seriously, all you have to do is sound sexy. Doesn't even matter if you actually look sexy. Sexiness is what it's all about. Talent? pfffh.

You should know that I said that out of frustration. After playing a bunch of shows with my band and having seen people walk out when my band started playing after the band that opened for us (who had those "cute guys" with hair in their eyes and overly cliched lyrics and delivery style) got done. While our music was much, much better and layered.
