Default More James to feed the fire...

Did you guys ever think that maybe James spoke out and said hes not in the band, because its all part of the plan, so that we are that much more surprised when the Pumpkins play their first show, and James walks out on the stage? Yes i know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but hey, anythings possible.

the burning question is: i wonder how much billy wants to hire a hitman to kill james for ruining his "surprise."

The only reason I keep this in mind as an extremely small possibility is because of all that shit Billy went on in the past about the "big surprise". So far, there has been no big surprise, only the obvious next step for the return of the Pumpkins: a new album.

Dude, the big surprise is Zeitgeist...

That's it.

James and D'arcy aren't in the band.
Get used to it.

I must admit that was one of my first thoughts when I read Iha's comments about not being in the band, but then I remembered Corgan is the one with the reputation of saying one thing and doing another, and not Iha.

He's not in the band. Boo hoo. Time to wait and listen.

This board is just chock full of disappointment lately.

I remember the days when you could take a piss and not have to worry about having your lunch money stolen.

No I think his statement was probably official......

That BC publicallly dennounced his contributions and Darcy's more than one and two times is probably the lowest thing he could have done.
I rememeber BC saying something like how he "let James leave" the band... or something like that. How do you let someone leave? It's silliness...

What is this, the race for President? It's like "no I'm not running" means "yes I am running, I'm just not going to tell you yet".

"No I'm not involved in the Pumpkins reunion!"

Not that I think James will be in the band but didn't TPQ say in London that the relationships between the band has been blown out of proportion by the press rather than a problem between the band themselves. I wasn't there but i'm sure I read it somewhere on here.

In that weird yellow room interview thing in Scandinavia somewhere, Billy referenced D'arcy by talking about how she'd been addicted to drugs for 7 years and thereby questioning her credibility. If he feels that way about D'arcy after she just left the band, how must Billy feel about James after he "broke up" the band initially? Maybe TPQ was talking about the perfect relationship between Jimmy and Billy.

why did billy announce a big surprise if it was just that they are going to record an album. You don't call up your boss and say you have a big surprise and then go in to work. "Surprise! I'm at work!" Why tell your already getting pissed off fans that you have a surprise and to be patient and then... like in that episode of the Office... NO SURPRISE. lol we are clearly pissed for a reason. 58938598 reasons, actually.

go ahead, be a childish punk and ignore my points. just don't act like i didn't make any. fuck off. if i was the only one who felt this way, maybe i would start thinking about if you had a point. but the fact that I know exactly where you are coming from but you don't have half a clue what those who are slightly upset are upset about pisses me off.
