The SP Dream

back in 95 when i was 15 years old i had a dream that has been with me for a while, the dream is colorless and just has audio, it was of a smashing pumpkins song .. i assume, because it was billy singing. mellow drums and layered guitars and it sounded like a mix between mayonaise and galapagos. really dreamy sound. i went out after that and bought all of the smashing pumpkins albums, i had been a casual fan but nothing more until i bought the cd's, and to my surprise the song in the dream wasn't on any albums, no b-sides, not even mashed potatoes/gravity demos/or soundtracks or comps. i haven't had the dream for a few years, but i believe it was something from the future, and i just wanted to say that i'm also kinda pissed the way we've been sent through the ringers by the band the last few years, but if that song is on the album, it will restore the faith that we all once had in the sp.

Thanks for the update Travis. The Beatles put me through the ringers from 1988-1993. They never said a word about what they were up to.

I had this incredible sex dream long ago which involved the ice cream truck in "today".

I once had a dream that I was on the third or fourth row in a Smashing Pumpkins show. Billy was out on the stage with an acoustic, the rest of the band in a room somewhere off stage, and they were playing all the loud numbers...

...then Billy just got up and started climbing over the seats to get to me because for some reason he wanted to make out with me desperately. I just swatted at him and yelled: GET OFF ME, DUDE!!!

I had a Pumpkin dream not to long after billy put the ad out about wanting his pumpkins back, my dream was that I was flipping through tv stations when a music video caught my eye it was and endless void of black and among the nothingness appeared a floating billy screaming on about something I couldn’t make out, as I watched in excitement billy would move about and I could hear music at first it sounded a lot like the everlasting gaze but mixed with a lot of backing vocals and as the heavy music progressed it all accumulated into a burst of percussion and again billy moved across the void and green rain began to fall as the music switched to what sounded like ending of the song eye.

Oh and billy was wearing that suit from the everlasting gaze video

I have had many many Pumpkins dreams over the years. The first ones began before I was even a big fan, so I'm pretty sure that was Billy or the universe beckoning me to further explore the band's message, which i did.

I just chuckled at seeing black screen and then a floating Bolly head comes out...
