I just got asked to be a sperm donor

OK, so I have a profile on a gay social site (not telling) and I just got this email:

Hey Phillip,

Ever thought of being a (known) sperm donor? Well we're looking for one!

Nothing like cutting to the chase huh? I'm a 42-year-old lesbian, in a committed relationship, and my girlfriend and I want to have a kid.

We’re looking for a known-donor...i.e., someone not super involved in the day-to-day nitty gritty but a presence in the kid's life -- an uncle figure kind of thing.

The donor wouldn’t have ANY financial responsibility, but we just figure the kid would naturally want to know who his/her father is & have some contact.

We have a couple straight friend we’re considering using – with families of their own -- but we’d really hoped for a gay guy. And ideally, one who would become a friend of sorts. (Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of gay male friends)

I'm white, 5'3, slim build, and I teach. My girlfriend's Asian American, same build, 36 years old and a journalist.

So, that’s the story in a nutshell.

Ask her how much your sperm is worth to her. ******* your result from the how much are you worth site and create some formula for devising how much you think your sperm is worth based on your total worth. And then put that amount on the table as a jumping off point for negotiations.

I don't see why it wouldn't. As long as you had a fresh uh, sample

and used the baster to deliver it to the cervix everything should work just fine.

As for the reversal of this delicate procedure, people have mixed success with "option 3"

If they aren't going to a sperm bank, something's fishy here. I'd say sell it to them at no less than 40,000 American dollars.

Some google searching...

Well, the cost of adopting a baby can range from $5,000 to as high as $25,000. So, let's go with $15,000.

It costs $200-$600 per insemination for sperm. So, let's say $400.

A sperm donor is paid $35-$50 per specimen. So, let's say $43.

So, um, if you as a whole are worth $2,539,258...

I'd say your sperm is worth about $30,886.
