Default i just got back from seeing 'babel'

i had a free pass to see 'the holiday' before it comes out this friday, but too many moochers meant they were full up.

i got the ticket from a co-worker and his girlfriend was there with some people. so, we all just went to the showing of babel.

it was a great movie, easily one of the best this year.

Last night I saw the Lake House and spent the whole time getting confused over the logistics of the story line which made absolutely no fucking sense and thus, I missed alot of the romantic banter bullshit between Neo and Gracie Hart...

Heh, yeah but the funny thing is, why did they have the bus crash so early in the film? I could see the way that was gonna pan out coming a mile away! The reason why I thought I'd watch this though is because I love Frequency. I loved it how it was actually coherent and it mixed genres - Lake House tried to do that but didn't do it at all well... However I loved the part when they take a walk together (but two years apart) and he leaves the message for her on the wall... It made me go all "AAAAWWWWWW...!"

yeah, there were some sweet parts of Lake House, but I haven't seen Frequency. I'll put it on my queue.
