Yeah, they give you a horizontal line through the text which leads the eye along.

Oh Brendan, you can get fonts like courier by installing the corefonts package - it's called msttcorefonts or something like that. That'll probably help

yeah it's not a big deal really. I can't print docs at home because i don't wanna buy ink since i can go to campus and print it.
