nah the first 2 seasons were weak. even season 3 hasn't aged to well. 4-8 was some prime material with 4 and 5 being the best. I specifically recall the new york episode as the first simpsons episode i did not laugh at most of the gigs. then on its mostly miss with some hits scattered around
