you said i argued with you about ND. i said it was because you give them too little credit. and when the only argument we have had took place, IT WAS BECAUSE YOU GAVE THEM TOO LITTLE CREDIT.

there is no need to clarify. you're not as bright as you think you are. or, you're dumber than you think you are, if that's more accurate.

i'm not saying it would be an ass-kicking. i just think that right now if I were to rank teams just completely subjectively (no credence given to record, conference, etc etc etc), I would probably go:

1) Ohio State
2) Florida
3) Tennessee
4) Michigan
5) Auburn
6) Arkansas
7) Cal
8) Texas
9) West Virginia
10) Notre Dame

I don't think anyone else is even worth mentioning. And as you can see, I really think the SEC this year is far and away the best conference. My top 6 subjectively is OSU, Michigan and 4 SEC teams. I don't want to see freaking Texas, ND or West Virginia play Ohio State because we know how that is going to end - miserably.

Just a gut feeing that they have the ability to turn it on better than Auburn. They both struggle to play 60 minutes of football as evidenced in Auburn's win over Ole Miss, Florida and even fucking Buffalo and Washington State. Same with Tennesse's loss to Florida (second half meltdown) and wins over Georgia (spotting the Dawgs a 17-point lead) and Bama. When Auburn decides to turn it on, they're still not exactly a juggernaut. Not enough of a passing game and some sloppy secondary on D. When Tennessee turns it on, a la the first half against Cal, the second half against Georgia, and 4th quarter against Bama, it's scary what they can do.

Hm. yeah I guess you're right. And Tennessee has an enormous edge at quarterback. But I also think it's doubtful that Tennessee will escape the next three games without a loss. If they do, then I'll be impressed.

If they do escape that stretch and go 11-1 AND Florida runs the rest of the table in the SEC, it will be very interesting to see how everything plays out. Especially if Auburn runs the table and Arkansas loses to Tennessee but beats LSU thus leaving Auburn and Tennessee out of the SEC title game but probably both in the BCS Top 5.

This pending Texas loss along with USC's loss is going to really shake things up and set up a potential SEC stranglehold on the BCS top 8.

Well I'm glad a 19 year old who can't post on Netphoria without people tearing his arguments apart is smart enough to tell me this.

You're so right. I continue to not give ND enough credit when you're harder on them than I am. You won. I see it now. I see the light.

You're also right about the fact that I meant that I tore your argument apart in this thread, not GlasgowKiss in the other thread, or any number of people that have done so in the past.

I'm having serious sports ADD.

Dallas Stars on the main TV, Texas-Tech on the guest TV, TCU-Wyoming on the radio, and trying to keep tabs on Tennessee-Carolina plus post on Netphoria.

I think Texas will pull this one out, but its incredible how their secondary has gotten worse over the course of the season.

I'm trying to convince myself that Tech will hold on and seeing visions of the second half of Okie State-Texas from last year instead.

The Texas coaching staff is too good not to make the adjustments to stop Gimmick Leach and Co.

I predict Texas wins 45-44.

Yeah and you still continued to insist that I STILL don't give ND enough credit. I keep saying "I put them at #11" and you're much harder on them than I am, especially since at the beginning of the thread you even said they aren't a top 10 team. So. Who gives them more credit out of the two of us? Now we go back to the idea that you think I don't give them enough credit, you know, still. I think, even, that you have them ranked LOWER than I do. I would make sure this is correct but I can't be arsed and I have a party at my apartment tonight and I haven't cleaned my room yet and Texas is at halftime.

Consider your use of present tense in the words "you give them too little credit" and you will soon understand why I say you have difficulty expressing yourself in writing, and why it's so easy for people to bait you into arguments. No, I don't know what YOU mean because you're the only one that does. If you're trying to argue that I have been known to not give ND enough credit then yes, that is absolutely true, but to say that I "give them too little credit" at this point in the season is false, because of its tense. You should probably take an elementary logic course.

66-28. That's right. Texas Tech will be penalized points for how bad they will suck in half no. 2.
