Yeah and I completely reconsidered it after seeing the ridiculous gung-ho mindset of so many people who are libertarians. It doesn't matter how much I agree in principle with many of the...principles of that particular religion, I can't call myself a libertarian because I actually believe in helping people who, you know, need and deserve help.

And maybe you can't see this, but I know plenty of very intelligent people that believe Jesus was the son of God and so on. Maybe everyone here thinks that invalidates their intelligece....but uh....i don't. Is it really any more far-fetched than a general belief in God?
