why would you ever let them stand around so that they dry up and stick? ok, if that has already happened, a litte oil can do wonders, but an preemptive oil-strike is a no-no....oh yeah, and noodle=pasta in my posts....in german the word is the same...

i let them stand because i cook for my roommates so i just leave them in the collander in the sink so they can come by and help themselves. putting oil on them is a necessity.

this is for spaghetti of course, when i make alfredo, you put the sauce on the noodles and mix it up so you don't really need oil.

(probably this counts more like another note to self) : don't order takeout pho. just stay and eat it there even though everyone will be staring at you having lunch alone.
