Question Daniel Johnston?

Anyone have any opinions on him? I did a search and not much came up, I know some of you know who he is...

Just curious, I was just recently introduced to his stuff after watching The Devil and Daniel Johnston, I'm pretty impressed at his creativity and I really like his earlier songs. Not to mention the documentary was pretty moving.

A lot of his songs are simply amazing even though he couldn't exactly perform them to their full potential.

It's REALLY good, you should definitely go get it, or something. We were by our friend's house and he had to run out for a little bit so he put it on and said "here, watch this", I was baffled for a little bit but by the time he came back I was mad that I couldn't watch the rest. So finally we all got to sit down and watch it and it nearly brought tears to my eyes. Since watching that I've been so fascinated by him, it's pretty crazy just how well he documented his own life.

Well right now I think we have Hi, How Are You?, which you have...and Welcome To My World (which has Peek A Boo) and Continued Story is the other one I just imported. So I'll upload Welcome To My World right now and if I have time I'll do Continued Story.

Do you have Oink? Mark says basically everything of his is on there, if you have an account you can download the rest from there.

Hah yeah, Mark uses it and I just tell him what I want and he gets it for me

I suppose it's simple once you get the hang of it and if you do ever want to use it I'm sure Mark wouldn't mind showing you some tips n stuff.

But anyhow, we're almost halfway done with this transfer so I probably won't have time to do the other tonight but I'll try to remember it for tomorrow.
