The Spurs are more athletic in the frontcourt this year with Elson and Jackie Butler, so it won't be as ugly as Nazr and Rasho. Tim is not the WORST superstar. I can't imagine they're less fun to watch than the Knicks or the Blazers.

the knicks and blazers at least have a fascinating trainwreck quality

stevie franchise and $tarbury in the same backcourt is hilarious to me

I also find that amusing, as is the fact why they aren't both considered two guards.

franchise wasnt as bad as starbury until he got separated from his gay lover cat mobley.

and yeah duncan can be boring as fuck but hes one of the most efficient players in the game, and he should be a hall of famer. watching him playing can be entertaining here and there because he hardly ever breaks a sweat, and the fist pump is always exciting.

Yeah I would agree to that bet if you would leave forever if they don't, but you could never do that.

The Mets can't play the Phillies in the NLDS, and the Mets will be knocked out in the NLDS

It'll be the Mets and either the Twins or the Yankees.

Sorry Esty, but the ChiSox are not making the playoffs.

Well, the Phillies won't make the playoffs so them knocking anyone out will be a bit tough.

392nd reminder that I picked Yankees-Mets as the World Series to start the year. However, the Mets better not draw the Padres in the NLDS. I think the Mets can beat the Dodgers in a 5-game series; LA has been exposed recently as a light-hitting team with a shitty bullpen. With Peavy, Chris Young, and Hensley or Boomer and the best bullpen in baseball (Meredith, Linebrink, and Hoffman are basically unhittable right now), the Pads are gonna be tough to match in a 5-game set.

Over 7 games though I think the Mets may just outmash anyone other than the Yankees. I need to see the last 2 weeks unfold as well as the match-ups before picking against the Mets.

speaking of Yankees, this 9th inning in T.O. is nuts. Tune in if you can, 1 more out or a homer to win in the bottom for the Jays.
