i went to see it, expecting it to be really dumb. expecting nothing, it was somehow still worse than i was anticipating. my friend really wanted to see it, and we had missed every other start time at the theater. he loves elf, anchorman, and every adam sandler movie ever made and he still didn't like it.

point still stands: Gary Gole & Ali G own in this movie. But having your supporting cast own you is not a good sign.

I saw Punch Drunk Love for the first time last night. Adam Sandler != Adam Sandler in Punch Drunk Love.

Farrell opens up the door and Stewie immediately smacks the crap out of him, snarling, "That's NOT FUNNY!" You kind of feel like doing what Stewie did after watching Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The movie is like watching somebody bang their head against the wall repeatedly to get a chuckle. You may laugh at it once in awhile but overall it's just painful.

PRO TIP:

Don't namedrop Family Guy while trying to make a case for something else not being funny

i don't think calling completely different movies "good" is putting them on the same level

a clockwork orange is about as deep as a larry the cable guy routine
it beats you over the head with its satire and whatever amazingly deep socially relevant points it's making about violence, society, the nature of man or whatever are obvious to any idiot

and it's a great movie :)

"if you don't like big red then fuck you" and "did you see that? that just happened"

the kids were kind of annoying though, until reese said he would put one in the microwave

PRO TIP: The word "from" meant it was a review FROM somebody else. He himself did not write the review but rather posted it and said it was not his own. You didn't catch that, but, of course, you're a jackass, as we can all plainly see.

ACO was by no measurable means similar to Anchorman, as was my point. You missed it, but, then again, you don't catch much, do you?

I have much to say to you, but I'd rather compact it into one post as opposed to spamming posts like a rabid animal that desperately wants to get up to 1000 posts, as if that puny number even mattered to people with 30k+. Also, I see you still don't know what != means, you didn't reply to it, by your logic since you did not reply, my testicles were placed in your mouth. How odd, I don't remember putting them there, so I assume you put them there yourself. Have a nice day, I'll not be reading anything you post on this thread for though it has proven funny, it has not been enjoyable.

u know what i mean?
spunk is an idiot himself and obviously just threw ACO in there as a controversial selection of a movie that is generally held to be a classic, but saying that anchorman and a clockwork orange are both good isn't really saying they're similar movies

i mean he said that neither of them have any socially redeeming qualities (which seems to be all u want in a movie. u must like Crash a lot) which is actually true
