I've gone to every shoe store in the city in the past two weeks. If I found a pair at $300, I'd get them, the price doesn't matter. It needs to actually fit my right foot, which most shoes don't.

today i went to the farmer's market (got a free range chicken to roast, peas, eggs, and gingersnap cookie crumbs to make a pie crust), then went to the bank and the post office, cleaned the house a bit and sat around, too. talked to thom and my grandma on the phone. tonight i have to decide between going to the gay pride parade (it's at night which is cool, and i love the pride parade and i've never seen the one in houston) or the free symphony in the park (it's russian composers - shostakovich and prokofiev). i'm going with my neighbor jennifer. also, am stressing over being broke and there's more of that on my agenda.

hey wally, you'd be suprised!!! i bet this parade is different from the one in chicago, i mean, just being at night would have to totally change it. but the parade in chicago had the oscar meyer weinermobile!

but jennifer just knocked on my door and we decided on the symphony. i went the free symphony last night and last saturday night, but i'm really excited about these russian composers. it's 2 miles away and i usually just walk there and home, but my neighbor vetoed that for tonight. i can't say i blame her. anyway, i'm happy.

you guys need to find this cool free stuff around you.

for real, sista. i realized last night on my walk home that i have only been bored a handful of times in 4 years. how sweet is that? i think that it's my biggest accomplishment. my problem is, i don't ever know where tha party at. i'm good at semi-boring fun. i mean, -i- think this shit is fun but i think that makes me a dullard to most people. woo, vegetables and violins. party!
