Well I've got to say that i've improved dramatically over the last 3-4 years, when I first picked up clubs. And actually, everytime I go out, I see people much worse than me. On a great day I play bogey golf, with 1 or 2 pars...

I just don't enjoy it anymore. I'd rather spend the money on something else. I don't have the patience for lessons and I don't have the mental stamina to last beyond 12 holes. I stop giving a shit after I get 2/3 of the way through the fucking course.

one of my friends lives in palm springs. palm spring is awesome during winter, but during the summer it's like sitting in an oven.

eh, i mean, it is creepy but they probably just wanted to be friendly since you seemed nice and were brand new.

having some people around to hang with is nice, so, i mean, unless they were creeps it might be fun to hang out. but i know what you mean. if someone i met once send in a mattress store looked me up and sent me a friend request and wanted to hang out, i'd have to think about it. it's just weird enough. but i guess this is 2006 and this might be what the world is coming to and it might not be very creepy at all.

And ammy, I live in Sacramento now! thats not too terribly far from you, right? I just got here yesterday so I don't really have any friends yet. The coworkers my age seem to be in the upper 20's/early 30's. But there are a lot of old people. There are three other new hires/interns right now but I haven't met them yet. I've only met two of the girls close to my age who I'll be working with and they were both really laid back and seem to like to go out (not PARTY but just do stuff). Hopefully I'll get along with them!

My job starts on monday. I gotta be there at 8:30. I am kinda nervous--I hope I can do everything they ask me to do. I don't want to let everyone down

And Lola is your dog half terrier/half lab?! I have a dog that is half black lab and half wire-hair terrier. She is such a freak, but I miss her.
