TV show themes need to have more wailing guitars these days, what happened to the wailing guitar as a trademark of a shows soon-to-be-perceived awesome glory? This is why the 1980's had such horribly, if not laughably, good theme songs for their action oriented shows.

Oh, the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, that had a good one, though it was just a remix of the original Mario Bros. theme. A classic nonetheless.

I was gonna say that. The song is called 'Hey Sandy'. Their album 'music from the adventures of pete and pete' is shit hot!

Anyone remember 'The family 'Ness'? 80's cartoon about Loch Ness monsters. Both the opening and closing tunes were amazing (and readily avliable from nostalgia websites!)
