I agree. I'm almost of the mind right now that no matter what the lineup ends up being, the "new" SP will probably put on a much better live show than the 2000 version did (most 2000 shows were decent to good, but rarely consistently great IMO). That's probably just excessive optimism though.

pre machine tour metro in 99 are good shows.
feb 2000 at the mall in albany!
3/2 Rhode island
4/25 SP on the boat
4/28 fairfax

from a business perspective, it would be more likely to release the dvd this year, what with knowing there's a new album coming down the pipe a few months later.

We'll have to wait till SP2 breaks up, then we'll get a double DVD of both of the final metro shows (since Billy will undoubtedly do another one) called Metro Collie/The Finale of Finales.
