With the exception of that video thats on YouTube from the Machina Era, I have never seen Billy do that solo properly live.

I wanna re-do it with my Creamy Dreamer and Big Muff into the Strategy 500 power amp. I think it would be even closer tonally.

it's not just a matter of varying, but rather a matter of sacrificing proper for the sake of kickass.

Nah we tour around the country alot. Going in the studio next month.
Finally got a drummer that can actually write with me. The other one just didn't care or try hard enough. He was a straightfoward 4/4 guy....

everyone should write in 4/4. just change the tempo instead of the time sig...

that's why andrew wk's album rocks so hard, cause every song has the same drum rhythm and is in 4/4!

You did a fairly nice job recreating the tonal qualities, yet, I can deffinitly hear the difference in the guitar's tone itself. Since you are playing with a PRS its kind of hard to perfectly recreate the sound Billy had on Siamese Dream (and if I remember a guitarworld article correctly, he was using Strats, and even Jazzmasters for the sessions). Also, you should get a microsynth for some of the specific portions of the song where it just completely destorys the tone (ie, outro).
Good though, the amp and fuzz sound great, just its hard to go for the "accurate cover" when the guitar sounds a good amount different than what was used on the recording.
