I shave my pits man, that's how I was able to find it. It's just a warm, shady spot I guess. Mark found one between his toes!

Ticks aren't as bad as I thought they'd be, just as long as you find them before they get all fat. Then they're really gross.

haha you should be able to find them before that. it does suck to have to pull them off of your self. sucks to pull them off animals too. my dog used to freak out when she saw the needle nose pliers. she new what was comin.

Yeah Mark's dog that lives outdoors in KY had them all over her and we'd have to go pick them off of her...those ones were real fat and I couldn't watch, it made me want to cry - that poor dog.

The one I found on me was still fairly flat. I was scratching at it, then felt it was a bump - looked, thought it was dirt or something - and when I pulled it off me I looked at it real close and saw it had legs! =X

chiggers are the worst! don't ever go walking through high grass by a lake while camping or hiking! my dad got them all over his calves, and washed them all of with adams flea and tick shampoo. you're not supposed to pull the ticks out because sometimes that leaves the head inside which can create a sore or get infected. we just sprayed our dogs and cats and washed them, but there's also a spray you can spray on the vegetation in your yard to keep them out.
