Default FS: SP Posters

After having sold a bunch of vinyl (of which the numbered Strange Fruit 10" is still left and available if you're interested), I'm moving on to some posters that need new homes. I don't have pictures available right now, but can take them later this weekend if they're required. All of these posters are in very good shape, have not been faded, and were actually only hung in a room with no natural light. The one key flaw with each poster is that, in my infinite wisdom in the 90s, they were held up with tiny staples - one in each corner. The result is a set of two tiny pin-holes on each corner. They were placed in such a way that, if these posters were to be framed (my original intent), the tiny holes in each corner would not be visible. So really, that's all - nothing nasty like tears or tape or glue. Email me at clubninja@verizon.net if you're interested in anything here:

- Thirty-Three subway poster: giant sized with artwork from the first single, has information about the single's release at the bottom

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001563.JPG

- Mojo Magazine cover shot: slightly oversized US poster with Billy, James, and D'arcy photo taken from the Mojo cover (the one with a blue glow on Billy's head) on a hot pink background

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001564.JPG

- Aeroplane Flies High promo: undersized US poster featuring a collage of all the black and white pictures from the AFH booklet

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001565.JPG

- Adore promo: undersized US poster with the black and white shot of a tree on the hill (taken from the Adore booklet, I think)

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001570.JPG

- Adore UK promo: Normal sized with the Adore cover and release information at the bottom

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001567.JPG

- Siamese Dream cover: simple US poster with Siamese Dream cover and "smashing pumpkins" at the top

I also have two posters I got with scotch tape on the corners (both in nice shape otherwise):

- Tonight Tonight video shot with the whole band in the clouds

- 1979 single cover with release information at the bottom

http://mysite.verizon.net/clubninja/sale/IM001568.JPG

Finally, I have a cardboard concert poster for the NY show before the Jimmy incident. It's yellow, with show info on it, and has a picture of the band in the middle. I'm pretty sure this is just a reprint. There are creases in the cardboard and it's a little warped, but it's not a terrible piece.

FYI, this is a completely unofficial bootleg poster produced after the "incident" to capitalize on Melvoin's death. Fucking tastless.

How much for each of the Tonight Tonight, Adore promo, and TAFH poster?

Thank you!

No problem - it was actually given to me by someone else back around that time. I appreciated it, but really always thought the thing was ugly in every way. I'll probably just send it to the recycling bin

On all the other posters, still fielding numerous emails. Thanks for the ongoing interest folks.

Right. I don't actually live with the posters anymore, so I was planning to travel to pick them up and photograph them last weekend. Then we got hit with a nice snow storm up in the northeast. So, I'll be getting them hopefully this week - if not, then this coming weekend. Thanks for being patient.

Long-awaited pictures added. Also, an OK Computer Radiohead poster if anyone's into that (see top of Siamese Dream poster underneath):

Uh, I don't remember turning anyone down. Several people asked for pictures, so I directed them to this thread once they were added. A couple of people made offers that I haven't addressed yet because I was awaiting a response from the people who contacted me earlier about the same posters. If you really want something, send me another email to jog my memory - if you're one of those people I'm waiting to get back to, then maybe you should get the poster(s) instead of the person who emailed before you, since they must not have gotten back to you. The only reason I'd turn anyone down is if they offered something like a buck for a poster, and no one's done that, so no one has been turned down.
