I think if you took half the parachute songs and half the rush of blood songs you'ld have a pretty good album to listen to IF you were in the right mood. X&Y is all too over the top though.

I agree with the first part of your post. But I think X & Y has more good songs on it than the previous two albums each had. I'm pretty sure nobody agrees with me.

A lot of people seem to like "Talk", but I think it's total crap. The lyrics are corny as hell, as was their performance last night on The Grammy's.

I recorded the grammys, and I know I've said a lot of crap about this album - and that won't change.

arobtth is incredible and I can listen to that and be happy.

the x&y disaster makes me a very sad panda.

their performance last night was tragic, pathetic, and tonally awful.

chris martin trying to race around the place a la bono, but with weak chops and stupid song.

so irritating.

and why were they nominated in the rock category? that isn't rock music.

the worst thing about coldplay is that they might be influencing other younger people to grow up and make equally bland radio friendly music...

If only they read this thread and for their next album produced a psychedelic blues rock funk hybrid..... ahhhh.
