Arrow A trailer of DOOM

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/doom.html

There's a level 5 quarantine at a remote scientific research station on Mars, and the only souls allowed in or out are the Rapid Response Tactical Squad - hardened Marines armed to the teeth. The research being done at Olduvai station has unwittingly opened a door, and a legion of nightmarish creatures of unknown origin now stalks the countless rooms and tunnels of the facility, killing what few people remain. Sealing off the portal to Earth, Sarge (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and his team must use every weapon at their disposal to carry out their orders.

Shit's takin' forever to load, tried the streaming one and it crapped out on me at the "Say my name, baby." and "handle ID: The Kid" part.

The Kid. What a name.

Screw it, I'm up for an Aliens rip-off as long as its well done.

I hope the whole movie is from that FPS perspective (there's a few shots of it scattered throughout but a nice money shot at the end.)

Sure, I'll sit there and think, "Damn, I wish I was playing a game." but its still pretty frickin' cool they're doing it anyway as a nod to the source.

The shots from the 1st person shooter perspective were interesting... but I'm kinda miffed that it took up most of the trailer. I hope most of the movie isn't like that.

I can't think of one good movie that was initially a computer game.

Yeah, but it's got a New Zealander in it, so it's going to be quality. Like room with a view.

If only there was some way to wall-in annoying members of the cast so they'd die of starvation...

That looks fucking terrible. The game sucked, how in the hell is a movie that is exactly like the game going to be any good at all? The answer is, it won't.

"The Rundown" was an interesting diversion, much more entertaining than it had any right to be. The Rock was also one of the entertaining things about "Be Cool". As for "Walking Tall" and "Scorpion King" .... eh, I won't mention those.

As for it based on DOOM - like I said, I loves me ALIENS rip offs. (Still haven't seen Alone in the Dark, though, which I'm pretty sure I'll pass on)

I want more and longer FPS sequences in the movie, dammit.

Y'all are probably gonna be ticked that the HALO movie is moving forward as well.
