it's really a shame how their breed was specifically designed/bred to fight and rip other dogs apart in dog fights. their aggression makes them entirely unsuitable for pets and many states and some counties in florida are banning the animals and taking them to shelters to be euthanized.
better some dog be euthanized than a person's child die because someone can't take care of their animals.

Hey Stacey.

On Sunday my friends girlfriends German Shepard attacked three people. One of whom was an albino. But that’s not the most interesting part:

The dog tore the one other guy apart and in the end tore his throat out and killed him.

The family / parents are being charged with homicide.

Okay, okay, I didn’t want to mention it, but it was a German Shepard cross Wolf, but it had been trained as a police dog, and had since been retired, when their family purchased it.

i don't know. i hear a lot about the 3yr olds getting attacked by dogs who've been caged improperly and trained to fight, and that makes me sad for the dogs as well.
i'm not really informed beyond that though. i just know that this is a type of dog specifically bred for it's aggression and fighting behaviors, and only in some conditions when raised right can make a good family pet.
weed has been really scarce here in oxford so OUR law enforcement is really kicking in.

my point is, the fact that owning a pitbull has become considered a crime is totally fucked up.

alcohol, when misused, can cause the deaths of innocent people through drunk driving. but that's not illegal and i'd bet my life that alcohol has a much higher 'death rate' than pitbulls do. but alcohol isn't illegal is it? because there's money to be made from it. and there are lobbyists that keep prohobition laws off the books.

I figure police trained dogs should be better trained. But I also figure, if the guy started freakign out, the dog would have just kept going. It has been trained to attack people, after all.

Yeah, we did the pitbull debate already.
I felt educated on the subject, since my older sisters ex boyfriend had a pit bull farm outside of Cape Town, with 30 – 50 killer pit bulls at any time.

They were trained to fight. Which is sad too. But he was a big gangster, so no one was going to tell him otherwise. Those dogs scared me. A lot.

Not my parents, her parents. She a Doctor too.

I don’t know, I suppose your dog, your responsibility.

Someone is dead cause the dog got out, some one should be held responsible.

They’ll probably change it to culpable homicide or something. And she wont do jail time.


My mom was charged with culpable homicide once, when a kid ran in front of our car on the way to school and died. It was pretty intense, and a bad part of my memory. But my mom was charged, and didn’t go to jail.
