But, I'll never forget the sound of his home run in Game 1 of the WS cracking the foul poul. Or his home runs in Game 6/Game 7 in New York for that matter.

2005 Cano vs. 2005 Bellhorn
Cano is -16 runs per 162 games. Neither this figure or Bellhorn's -8 is park adjusted. When you do, Cano is just behind Bellhorn -- 4.25 RC/27 (where 5.00 is league average) to Bellhorn's 4.32.

Cano's ZR is .827, which is a tad below average. I think Bellhorn has to be given at least a slight edge defensively.

By the numbers
Cano 277/304/417, .255 EQA
Bellhorn 216/328/360, .253 EQA

Cano 4.08 RC/27
Bellhorn 4.31 RC/27

Secondary average, Bellhorn leads .329 to .177

So, yeah, Bellhorn had a better season than the New York's ROY candidate, by the numbers at least.

The worst quality of Bellhorn was his horrid VORPr.

That said, Graff > Bellhorn.

I still cry when Pedro pitches well. (Not like full out bawling. But a little teary.) I mean, yeah you have to move on. But it's hard.

Bellhorn should be kept over Cora, except he's not going to right himself not playing everyday. Poor guy. The magnet will live on.
