I'm kinda irritated. Just got back from playing Beyond Balderdash over at a friend's house. I came in about rounds late, and had to make up a bunch of points, so i was trying to do well.
For anyone who doesn't know the game, you make up definitions, or plots to movies, or what people are famous for, or why dates are famous. you write down all of your answers and one person reads them out and you all vote on which is real.
so people kept fucking up mine, going "i can't read this" which totally gives it away that its not the dictionary definition...
someone misread my "canasta" as "lanasta"
and "black tuesday" as "black toesday"
I mean honestly. i know it sounds petty (OOH ITS JUST A GAME), but i was catching up.... it would seem to me that half the point is being able to read and keep a straight face, or an answer becomes invalid.... i gave them the courtesy.... *sigh*
i wouldn't have been that irked, but the person who won was like "woo hoo i kicked all of your asses" when they misread 2 of my answers!

wow. it does sound petty :/

It's a little petty. But then you don't even want to see me when I own Boardwalk and somebody else buys Park Place. It's ugly. We're talking houses and hotels everywhere. Or if i own one of the utilities and somebody else dares to buy the other. It makes me angry just thinking about it.
